Fundraising via Your Quality Used Clothing and Accessories
The Page Boy clothing store, located at 1132 Canyon Street has been in business for some time. They buy nice clothing and accessories that people like you don’t need any more and then sell them through the store and on line throughout Canada and internationally.
This is how it works:
Sell your clothing by appointment only: Text the store at 250-551-4680 to ask for a convenient appointment time. Megan, the owner, will choose the items suitable for her store and make you an offer. If you agree with the offer, she will pay you cash and the items then belong to Page Boy to market.
Donate the proceeds to the Creston Refugee Committee: Should you wish to donate the proceeds to the Creston Refugee Committee, you may leave the cash with Megan. She will give you a copy of a receipt and put the cash in an envelope for a member of the Committee to pick up and take to the United Church. The Church will give the proceeds to The Creston Refugee Committee and send you an official receipt for donations of $20 or more to be used for income tax purposes. Learn more on their FaceBook page!
