The Creston Refugee Committee welcomes and supports families and individuals whose lives have been disrupted by persecution, extreme unrest, violence, cruel and unusual punishment, human rights violations and/or threat of death.
They have been forced to flee their homelands, mostly to refugee camps in other countries.
With the help of Creston's Trinity United Church and Creston residents, we have welcomed 92 refugees to Creston since 1979.

OUR ONLINE SILENT AUCTION Raised over $5300!Our silent auction fundraiser wrapped up on February 18 and thanks to the generosity of our local sponsors and all the active bidding from our Creston and area residents, we have raised just over $5300.
Since the Creston Refugee Committee is again preparing to sponsor a new family, this early start to our year's fundraising has been critical. Huge thanks and kudos to the organisers, auction item donors, and bidders! You can also donate directly to our fundraising project - just click the link below for more information. |
